In the late ’90s, an obsession with the television show “Xena: Warrior Princess” lit a creative spark in people all over the world. Suddenly the Internet was there, providing a huge audience and almost instantaneous feedback. And this TV show was there, inspiring a new wave of lesbian erotica, of which Julia rode the crest, creating and posting over twenty erotic stories over a three year period under the pseudonym Xena’s Little Bitch. Surrounding this period, Julia co-hosted an NYC nightclub event, Xena Night at Meow Mix, for which she wrote numerous humorous skits that were performed live on stage.
